Gebardi

Product Types: Gebardi Chicago Pizza Sauce | Gebardi Sugo Rosso (thick rich red gravy) | Gebardi Chicago Pizza Dough Ready Mix | Gebardi Chicago Pizza Crust Chips

About Us
More than a hundred years ago, the Gebardi family took the long journey from Licata, Sicily through Ellis Island and to Chicago, becoming immediately entrenched in the era that led to Prohibition. Handsome Vincenzo Gebardi meets Helen. Young and in love, the two marry secretly. Vincenzo, seeking justice for the murders of his father and step-father, embarks on a life of crime as Al Capone’s chief gunman.

He changes his name to Jack McGurn and becomes known in history as “Machine-Gun Jack McGurn”. In 1929, he is the prime suspect in the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre, the most horrific and bloody gangland slaying in history. Jack is murdered in 1936 (almost to the day of the massacre) with a valentine pinned to his chest. Some believed that he knew too much and had become a liability to the outfit.

Helen carries on, raising her daughter. Four generations later, her family shares the rich heritage of food, passed down from “Nana” Helen...a bounty and blessing of flavor and history.

Today, Christine (Helen & Jack’s great-granddaughter) and her husband David, have married their old-world heritage and the zest of Chicago history to bring you Italian food that restores honor to the family name...Gebardi. Si mangia benĂ©...You’ll eat well!

Earth Rhythms Cafe and Bongo Brew Espresso

Product Types: Healthy Take Home Dinners (Gluten Free available); COFFEE- regular and deaffinated Buy it by the pound or the half pound.

About Us
We, Jonah and Megan Lucht, purchased the Bongo Brew on Kootenai cut off Rd. in May of 2008. With the business came a small Deitrichs Roaster and we jumped right in to a wonderful little coffee shop, selling delicious drinks using beans roasted right on the property. We quickly changed to fair trade, organic green beans and the drinks got even better. To keep up with demand, we purchased a larger roaster this April. It has been so much fun learning about the world of the coffee bean. We are an environmentally conscience business, using green plastic ware and recycling what we can by driving to the Coeur d Alene or Spokane Recycle Center. We are happy to provide our coffee on Six Rivers Market. The good thing about only being able to roast six pounds at a time is it is guaranteed fresh! Now Open: Earth Rhythms, natural market & cafe, offering healthy take home dinners!

Ingredients
Bongo Brew special blend, a unique blend of beans to produce a wonderful taste for both espresso and drip. Our decaffinated coffee will always be Swiss water processed. The Bongo Brew Secret Blend will always be the same. Our Decaf is a Sumatran bean as of now. We are currently sampling different beans and will soon expand our selection for custom ordering.
